Email [email protected]. One person reads that inbox. We aim to reply within two business days.

To help us help you, include your iPhone model, your iOS version, the app version (Settings → About), and what you expected to happen versus what did. If the app is misbehaving, Settings → Export Problem Report generates a file with your local sync history and diagnostic logs. It is created only when you export it, you can read it before sending, and it never contains your Oura password or tokens. Attaching it usually turns a multi-day back-and-forth into one reply.

Frequently asked questions

Why do I need an Oura membership?
OuraSync reads your data through Oura's official API, and Oura requires an active membership for API access. Without one, Oura's API returns no data and there is nothing for the app to sync. The membership is billed by Oura and is separate from your OuraSync subscription.

Why does OuraSync only sync five metrics?
The Oura app already sends a set of metrics to Apple Health on its own — Active Energy, Heart Rate, Height, Mindful Minutes, Respiratory Rate, Sleep and its stages, Steps, Weight, Workouts, and Workout Routes. OuraSync covers five that sit outside that set: resting heart rate, heart rate variability, blood oxygen (SpO₂), body temperature, and VO₂ Max. Syncing the rest would duplicate what you already have. OuraSync is not a second Oura app — it shows no scores and no interpretation of your data, only what it wrote and when.

How do I disconnect OuraSync from my Oura account?
Settings → Sign Out. That erases your Oura tokens from your device immediately and stops all syncing. You can also revoke access from Oura's side at cloud.ouraring.com, under your account's connected applications. Signing out does not remove data already written to Apple Health — use the purge tool for that.

How do I remove data the app wrote to Apple Health?
Settings → Purge. You can remove one metric or everything OuraSync ever wrote. The tool removes only samples written by OuraSync; it does not touch data written by the Oura app, your Apple Watch, or any other source. Deleting the app also removes all of OuraSync's local data, but samples already in Apple Health stay there until you purge them or delete them in the Health app.

What happens if my subscription lapses?
Syncing pauses. Data already written to Apple Health is not removed today, and we will not change that without telling you first. See section 3 of the Terms of Service for the full explanation, including a developer requirement that may change this in a future release.

Something isn't syncing. What should I check first?
Confirm you are signed in to Oura in Settings, that Apple Health write access is enabled in iOS Settings → Health → Data Access & Devices → OuraSync, and that your Oura membership is active. Syncing runs in the background on iOS's schedule, so a new day's data may take a few hours to appear. The Status screen shows what was written, skipped, or failed, and why. If it shows a permission or scope problem, signing out and back in re-requests access from Oura.
